My name is Teweldebrhan Abraha Reda an Assistant Professor of Psychology and currently, I am a Ph.D. student at the University College Dublin, Ireland. I have been served as a lecturer and researcher in Wolaita Sodo University, School of Education and Behavioral Sciences in the Department of Psychology starting from September 2007- 2015/16. I obtained my BA degree in psychology from Jimma University and MA degree in Social Psychology from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. In addition, I have served as the head of the Psychology Department for two consecutive years and Dean School of Education and Behavioral Sciences, WSU, Ethiopia. Moreover, I am a hard worker, highly committed, punctual, honest and target oriented scholar in my duties which is evidenced by my teaching efficiency and active participation in the academic affairs of the department, the school and the university as well. Furthermore, I have been delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the department of psychology in addition to actively participating in different administrative positions in Wolaita Sodo university at large. Furthermore, I was one of the reason and pioneer when Wolaita Sodo is launching Counseling and Psychosocial support center for the university community. By initiating the ideas, develop a sound proposal and presenting the paper publically to the academic, administrative staffs and students of our university. Finally, the center was opened and operates its function starting from 2012/3. Besides, I launched the postgraduate program of Counseling Psychology in 2013/4 by taking and adapting different international and national experiences and the program is still producing competent graduates of counselors to the nation at large. Generally, my objective is to be a part of dynamic society and to advance myself in knowledge, to involve from inception to completion of an area related to human behavior and to be a profound Professor in the fields of Psychology. Beyond doubt, my life's aim is to dramatically raise the height of the mountain of knowledge so that my successors may have a more accurate view of the universe around them related the discipline or profession psychology. I commit my life to help others and advancing society's level of understanding. I have ample experiences in teaching, research, community services and participating in different administrative positions starting from committee members, department head up to dean levels in Wolaita Sodo University. That is why the university is awarding for my contribution and promoted to the rank of Assistant Professor of psychology and now I am participating in teaching and learning and Community services more aggressively than ever.
